Hm… I always just think “Hey, this could be fun. I’ll add them.” The rest of the steps above are sort of slipped in as I write. Find that sweet spot that makes the character what they are and build from it.
Ah, the process.
Finally finished this after butchering it on the first try. digital painting is NOT my strong suit, so i’m just not gonna worry about trying that style for now ~ w ~;

Seasons 2 & 3
Okay Everybug, it’s time we all calm down and be patient about the next season. The only things that have been said in any sort of “official” capacity was Jeremy Zag posting on Instagram that Seasons 2 & 3 would be released next year (2017). We already knew Season 2 was coming out next year. The production staff have moved beyond writing and last we heard were storyboarding. To say we have an exact air date or month at this point is jumping the gun. We simply do not know.
Closer to the airing is when the exact airdates for the next seasons will be made public. Those sorts of announcements will be very prominently announced in easy to find places, such as the official Miraculous and Zag social media accounts. MLSubbing will also post or reblog official announcements and information.
Please be patient about the next season. The Miraculous staff is working hard to get it done and released as fast as they can.
You are always welcome to ask us if there’s something being spread around. If it’s a huge announcement, and we have not posted it, it’s one of two things: we have not heard it yet (it’s brand new information!), or it’s not true. Always fact check your sources on huge news, in both fandom and out of fandom.

i couldn’t sleep, so I decided to just start flicking through some internet TV things, like Netflix, Crunchyroll, etc.
and I found

but… it’s from the perspective of the cat. who LOVES HER.

and… the whole show is just about how happy he is to be her cat and how he thinks she’s amazing and the best ever
it’s a whole SHOW ABOUT HOW MUCH THIS CAT AND HUMAN LOVE EACH OTHER
AND HOW HAPPY HE IS TO ALWAYS BE THERE FOR HER
AND, AND, AND THE SECOND EPISODE IS JUST THEM REMINISCING ABOUT THE FIRST day they met…

OUGHH MY HEART…
I was able to meet Thomas Astruc at the Dokomi yesterday. Honestly, this man is awesome in real life as well. There were so many laughs during the interactive Ladybug Panel and the Meet and Greet. HOLY SHIT I EVEN HUGGED HIM! Best day ever.
And of course, because I was cosplaying Adrien, I had to make a little joke to him. I’m glad he didn’t hate me for this.
Yes, I asked him to sign that. Of course I also got a normal autograph but geez, that was awesome. When a Volpina cosplayer asked a question, he replied with “is that your honest question or are you lying to me?”
He also said “No spoiler :-)” only three times. And apparently they’re writing some big stuff for season two. He also told us there would be more deepth for the character’s backstories.

PS. I also had Marinette coming up to me, handing me some Camembert and saying “It’s okay. I know it.”
